In the framework of “Volunteers 4 ALL” (V4ALL) project, PROJUVEN had the pleasure to organize a workshop in Málaga, Spain. The main idea of the event was to present to Spanish youngsters the e-learning courses elaborated during the first stage of the project and encourage them to take the online courses.
This workshop was attended by youth workers and volunteers that are actively working in the NGO field, as well students who were interested on the topic and want to learn more about the current refugee situation and how they can contribute for the integration of refugees in their country. During the event, Francesco Ruberto, President of Asociación PROJUVEN, introduced to participants the topic of each module and the general idea of the project consortium. He shared with them the importance of having digital and social skills for youth workers working with refugees and also explained how refugees use social media and digital tools during their journey to Europe. Participants had an opportunity to learn more about the strategies of NGOs for inclusion of refugees in the society (information included also in the last module of the e-learning courses) and also were invited to give their ideas on how we can tackle the current problem.
